First Security Islami Bank Limited (FSIBL) is a well-established private scheduled bank in Bangladesh. It operates as a public limited company and is guided by Shari’ah principles. The bank's board consists of 13 members, including the Chairman and Managing Director, along with a dedicated Shari’ah board comprising of 5 members. With a paid-up capital of Tk. 8740.99 million and authorized capital of Tk. 10,000.00 million, FSIBL has expanded its presence to 199 branches and 190 ATMs across Bangladesh since its inception on August 29, 1999.
The bank offers an array of services including branch banking, internet banking, SMS banking, agent banking, mobile banking, remittance services, and import-export facilities. FSIBL's vision is to become the leading financial institution in the country by delivering top-notch products and services supported by cutting-edge technology and a highly motivated workforce dedicated to excellence in banking.
FirstCash is FSIBL's exclusive application designed to utilize the bank's logo, images, videos, and website contents for Mobile Financial Service Application (FirstCash). The bank boasts a robust service delivery network and an advanced IT infrastructure divided into specialized teams such as CBS, DBA, System & Hardware, ATM, Network, Security, Software Unit, and FinTech Team with well-equipped DATA and data recovery centers.
The FirstCash application offers various features such as customer-to-business and merchant payments, government-to-customer payments for grants and stipends, bank and card transfers, cash transactions (refill and withdrawals), fee payments (education/school), P2P fund transfers, credit card bill payment, utility bill payment options, mobile balance recharge for all Telco providers in Bangladesh, transfers to bKash and Nagad platforms, cheque book requisitioning, card requests including PIN requisitioning, foreign remittance withdrawals, balance inquiry functionality with mini statement/account statement download facility, merchant payments using QR codes.
The application ensures security with features like password and T-PIN changes, transfer authentication through T-PIN, OTPs, RSA Tokens. Users can receive notifications about bank news, events, transactions via scroll bar alerts and messages. The application also allows users to calculate MTDR profit and EMI schedules, check exchange rates, as well as view, share, review or request products offered by FSIBL.
